Împrumuturile SAFE, rambursate în 45 de ani. România are 10 ani perioadă de grație

Romania has secured a 2.5 billion euro pre-financing from the European SAFE loan, with a 45-year maturity and a 10-year grace period. Future disbursements depend on meeting specific milestones related to defense projects. The funding is aimed at enhancing military capabilities and infrastructure, with 75% allocated for military equipment and 25% for national road infrastructure. The Ministry of Finance will manage the funds, while the Prime Minister's Chancellery oversees the overall plan. Romania aims to increase defense spending to at least 3.5% of GDP by 2035, with SAFE facilitating long-term financing.
