Împrumuturile SAFE: 45 de ani maturitate, 10 ani grație

Romania has accessed a 2.5 billion euro pre-financing from the European SAFE loan, with a 45-year maturity and a 10-year grace period. Future disbursements depend on meeting specific milestones for funded projects. The financing will primarily support military equipment and national infrastructure, with 75% allocated to defense. The Ministry of Finance will manage the funds, while the implementation will involve various ministries. Romania aims to increase defense spending to 3.5% of GDP by 2035, with SAFE facilitating more efficient financing.
