Importurile Germaniei din Rusia au scăzut cu peste 96% de la începutul invaziei ruse în Ucraina
Trade between Germany and Russia has drastically declined since the onset of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, with imports dropping by 96.4% in early 2026 compared to 2021. The value of imports fell from 15 billion euros to 500 million euros, primarily due to halted oil and gas deliveries. German exports to Russia also plummeted, with only 3.4 billion euros in goods exported in the first half of 2026, a quarter of the 2021 figure. The number of Russian-controlled companies in Germany decreased significantly, as did German companies operating in Russia. Air travel between the two countries has sharply declined, with only about 39,900 passengers recorded in early 2026. Migration from Russia to Germany has also dropped, with fewer Russian citizens relocating since the war began.
