Imobiliarele au atras 22,1 miliarde de euro din investiții străine
The real estate sector in Romania reached approximately €22.1 billion in foreign direct investments by the end of 2025, accounting for 16.4% of total FDI. This sector is the second most significant destination for foreign capital after manufacturing. In 2025, net foreign investments in real estate decreased to €479 million from €593 million in 2024. Including construction, total FDI amounts to nearly €23.9 billion, reflecting a 185.7% increase since 2015. The overall net FDI in Romania rose to €7.9 billion in 2025, marking a 41.1% increase from the previous year. Foreign capital remains concentrated in Bucharest and Ilfov, which attract 66.9% of total FDI, with nearly 63% of modern office, retail, and industrial spaces located there.
