A unique intervention is set to take place in Romania for the building on Calea Rahovei, damaged by an explosion in October 2025. The construction team is preparing a technical solution for the severely affected upper floors. Currently, support columns have been installed only up to the fifth floor, with access to higher levels being impossible. The most damaged floors are the sixth, seventh, and eighth, which have numerous dislocated walls. A specialized technical solution will soon be introduced to allow residents to safely retrieve essential belongings. Additionally, a crane and protective mesh wall will be installed this week, with demolition of the upper floors scheduled to begin on October 5. The explosion resulted in three fatalities, including a pregnant woman, and injured 15 others, leading to the evacuation of numerous apartments.
