The first drone shot down in Romanian airspace fell between Padina and Pogoanele, prompting a significant response from authorities to locate its remains. An F-16 fighter jet intercepted the drone, which had entered Romania's airspace from Sulina. Military forces mobilized, blocking traffic on a local road, while investigators found parts of the missile used for interception. The drone was detected early in the morning and was targeted above an uninhabited agricultural area.
