The Bucharest City Hall announced preparations for securing a building affected by a gas explosion in Rahova. The construction team is set to begin safety measures after a site handover. A drone inspection of the building and apartments was conducted. The rehabilitation process involves two phases: design and safety measures, taking a total of 60 days. The damaged part of the building will be demolished, and temporary supports will be installed. Residents from the unaffected section can retrieve valuables, while those from the damaged area face uncertainty. The building became uninhabitable after an explosion in October, resulting in three fatalities and 15 injuries.
