The Romanian Prime Minister discussed the ongoing energy crisis due to low Danube water levels, which have affected hydroelectric production. Over 140 participants joined the online meeting to address voluntary energy consumption reductions. Current Danube flow is around 1,450 cubic meters per second, lower than the 2003 minimum. Romania faces a regional energy deficit, importing significant amounts to meet evening demands. Measures include maximizing energy production from all available sources and maintaining nuclear capacity at Cernavodă.
