Romania and India aim to double trade volume and elevate their bilateral relationship to a Strategic Partnership by 2028, as stated by interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan after meeting President Droupadi Murmu. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in energy, defense, technology, pharmaceuticals, and fertilizers. Bolojan highlighted the potential of Constanta Port as a key entry point for Indian goods into the European market. The importance of improving air connectivity and cooperation in education, culture, research, and innovation was also emphasized.
