Ilie Bolojan, despre varianta Luca Niculescu ca premier și desemnarea lui Nicușor Dan: De patru luni de zile mi-am golit biroul

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan expressed his desire for a new government to be formed quickly, emphasizing the need for effective state functioning. He discussed recent meetings with President Nicușor Dan but clarified that no specific names for the premiership, including Luca Niculescu, were mentioned. Bolojan highlighted the urgency of a budget rectification, which is typically done in the fall, to address unanticipated expenses in sectors like healthcare. He noted that the current interim government lacks the authority to execute such adjustments, stressing the importance of a fully empowered government to manage financial allocations effectively. Bolojan also reflected on the challenges of prolonged interim governance, comparing Romania's situation to countries like Belgium.
