The interim government cannot legally adjust the budget to address these debts, and Bolojan suggests that the future government must stagger payments and quickly adopt a unified salary law to prevent further lawsuits. The High Court recently ruled in favor of magistrates seeking unpaid salaries, imposing a 10-day deadline for payment, or else penalties will accrue.
