The inauguration of a crucial segment of the Moldova Highway (A7) is set for August 31, with 47 kilometers opening between Adjud and Bacău. This will increase the operational length of A7 to approximately 242 kilometers out of a planned 319 kilometers. The remaining section from Bacău to Pașcani is still under construction and will be funded by the state budget. Future expansions include contracts for the Pașcani-Suceava sector, aiming to enhance connectivity and economic development in the region. The project is part of a broader European initiative with significant funding allocated for dual-use infrastructure.
