IKEA Romania plans to invest approximately 130 million euros over the next three years, focusing on expansion and price reductions. The investment includes 125 million euros for opening new customer meeting points and modernizing existing stores, particularly the Băneasa location. Additionally, 4.4 million euros will be allocated for price reductions in fiscal year 2027. The company aims to enhance accessibility and customer experience while exploring smaller store formats in partnership with local retailers. The Băneasa store modernization will occur in phases starting in spring 2027, maintaining operations during renovations. IKEA has already reduced prices by an average of 20% on numerous products.
