Iilie Bolojan: Am alocat suma de 7 milioane de lei către Ministerul Transporturilor, în vederea executării unor lucrări în zona aducţiunii dinspre Cernavodă
The Romanian government allocated 7 million lei for urgent works at Cernavodă to keep Nuclear Group 2 operational amid declining Danube water levels. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced the funding for the Ministry of Transport to ensure a stable water supply for cooling the nuclear plant. Authorities are also considering submerging barges to redirect the Danube's flow. All involved institutions are conducting dredging operations to maintain water levels. Bolojan emphasized the importance of these investments for the future of the Cernavodă nuclear project, stating that without them, new reactors cannot operate effectively.
