This victory marks Buse's second ATP title of the season, following his win in Hamburg. He has significantly improved his ATP ranking, moving from 135 to 31. Buse's success is notable for Peruvian tennis, as he is only the second player from Peru to win an ATP title on hard courts. Meanwhile, Fery, despite the loss, will reach a career-high ranking of 33 and become the new British number one.
