Iașul a atras 133 de milioane de euro prin PNRR

Iasi municipality is set to receive around 133 million euros through 25 projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The total value of these projects is approximately 700 million lei, focusing on public transport modernization, youth housing, energy rehabilitation of schools, and waste collection system upgrades. Completed investments include the acquisition of 18 trams and 25 electric buses, as well as the construction of 188 youth housing units. Ongoing projects at two educational institutions are nearing completion, with new classrooms expected to be ready by September. Mayor Mihai Chirica emphasized the importance of these European funds for future investments.
