Iaşiul cumpără 10 tramvaie la 2,5 milioane euro bucata

The municipality of Iași is initiating a public tender for the purchase of 10 new trams, totaling 126 million lei, funded mainly by EU grants. The trams will be 19 to 22 meters long, accommodating at least 135 passengers, and equipped with advanced technology. The first tram is expected to be delivered within 12 months, contributing to the ongoing modernization of the city's public transport fleet, which has already seen the addition of 32 new trams in recent years.
