Hub-uri de tehnologie în România. Analiză: Cinci orașe au ajuns să concentreze cea mai mare parte a afacerilor IT din țară
The Bucharest-Ilfov region leads Romania's IT sector, generating significant revenue and housing the majority of companies. Other key IT hubs include Cluj, Timiș, and Iași. A study highlights that these five areas account for 87% of total revenues, 75% of net profit, and 85% of IT employment in the country. The concentration of IT businesses in these regions fosters strong ecosystems, attracting investments and talent. However, this concentration also poses risks, as the industry is vulnerable to external shocks and changes in multinational strategies. The challenge ahead is to extend growth beyond established hubs, requiring education, infrastructure, and community collaboration.
