Authorities conducted inspections revealing significant food storage violations, leading to the withdrawal of 523 kg of improperly stored food. The hotel faced fines totaling 100,000 lei and its food service was temporarily closed. A proposal for a six-month suspension of the hotel's operations is forthcoming. A total of 58 individuals, including 11 children, received medical assistance, with six hospitalized for further care. Symptoms suggested possible food poisoning, and health authorities are investigating the exact cause of the illnesses.
