Tourists reported severe abdominal pain and vomiting after dining at the hotel, leading to multiple hospitalizations. Inspectors found unsanitary conditions in the kitchen, including improperly stored food and malfunctioning refrigerators. The hotel was subsequently closed for six months and fined a total of 117,000 lei. Tourists received refunds for their ruined vacations, expressing disappointment and concern for their health. The hotel claimed no previous incidents had occurred during the summer season.
