Hotărâre: CSM limitează numărul dosarelor repartizate judecătorilor

The CSM has implemented a new system for managing court activities in Romania, focusing on judges' capacity to handle cases. Each judge's annual case capacity is set at 288 for courts, 192 for tribunals, and 119 for appeal courts. Daily capacity is calculated using an IT system, with excess cases recorded for future allocation. Priority cases are handled immediately, even if daily limits are reached. The new mechanism aims to prevent court overload and is based on European Commission statistics. Implementation will occur in phases, with increased capacities until 2028.
