The sector has lost around 25,000 employees in the past year and a half, resulting in significant revenue losses for the state. To combat staff shortages, some employers are turning to dual education students, offering scholarships and training. There are also accredited schools for those seeking quick qualifications. A qualified waiter or chef can earn up to 13,000 lei monthly.
