Horațiu Potra scapă de arestul la domiciliu. Decizia luată de ÎCCJ

The High Court of Cassation and Justice has allowed Horațiu Potra to be judged under judicial control instead of house arrest. Previously, he was placed under house arrest with an electronic monitoring device after being released from preventive detention. Potra was apprehended in Dubai in September 2025 and returned to Romania. He faces charges related to actions against constitutional order and illegal weapon handling, alongside 20 other mercenaries. Prosecutors allege that Potra's group aimed to infiltrate protests following the annulment of the December 2024 elections to incite chaos.
