Hidroelectrica scumpește energia electrică vândută consumatorilor casnici pe motive de... secetă • Economie Biz Brasov
Hidroelectrica has announced a price increase of over 7% for electricity sold to consumers, effective from October. This translates to an additional 8 lei for every 100 kWh consumed. The increase will affect new customers and those with expiring contracts, raising the price from 0.45 lei to 0.515 lei per kWh. After including network fees and taxes, the final price could range from 1.19 to 1.27 lei per kWh. For example, a family consuming 100 kWh monthly will see an increase of 8 lei, while those using 300 kWh will face a 24 lei rise. This hike is attributed to the declining flow of the Danube, forcing the company to purchase energy at higher market prices.
