Hidroelectrica primește undă verde pentru finalizarea amenajării Cornetu–Avrig: va produce energie pentru peste 52.000 de gospodării

The Cornetu-Avrig hydropower plant has received environmental approval for its completion, ensuring strict environmental protection measures and public consultation. The project, owned by Hidroelectrica, aims to produce 156.8 GWh of renewable energy annually, sufficient for over 52,000 households. It includes five stages and focuses on finishing the Câineni and Lotrioara steps while considering existing infrastructure. Environmental impact assessments were conducted, and measures to mitigate environmental effects were established. Public consultations were held, and conditions for protecting the historical monument Turnul Spart were included. Minister Diana Buzoianu emphasized the importance of energy investments that comply with regulations.
