This adjustment reflects a 13% increase, which is below the cumulative inflation rate during the unchanged price period. The company cites rising costs, fuel price fluctuations, and unfavorable hydrological conditions as factors influencing this decision. The water flow has been significantly below average since April 2026, impacting energy production. Despite market pressures, Hidroelectrica aims to maintain competitive pricing for residential consumers, holding about 20% of the market share. The new price applies only to new customers and expiring contracts, without retroactive effects.
