Hidroelectrica investeşte 296,8 milioane lei pentru baterii de stocare la Porţile de Fier II

Hidroelectrica announced a 296.8 million lei investment in battery storage capacity at C.H.E. Porțile de Fier II, featuring 64 MW power and 434.76 MWh storage. The project, awarded to Synergy Construct, aims to enhance renewable energy utilization and flexibility in the national energy system. It will optimize production profiles and allow energy shifting to higher value periods. The project is partially funded by 43.4 million lei from the Modernization Fund. The initiative reflects Hidroelectrica's commitment to sustainable energy solutions and efficient energy management.
