Hidroelectrica anunță noi scumpiri

Hidroelectrica, Romania's largest electricity producer, is increasing its electricity prices for residential customers due to rising market costs and reduced water levels. The new price for active electricity will be 0.515 lei/kWh, marking a 13% increase. Final billing prices will range from 1.19 to 1.27 lei/kWh, reflecting a 7% rise. The company has reported a 16% increase in energy production and a 40% rise in revenues for the first half of 2026, with net profit up by 62%.
