Pegasus Airlines cited airspace safety concerns as the reason for the cancellations, following warnings from Ukraine's president about potential airspace closures due to ongoing attacks. The situation has disrupted numerous direct flights between Turkey and Russia, including to cities like St. Petersburg and Samara, particularly affecting Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports.
