This move marks a shift from their focus on residential and mixed-use real estate to digital infrastructure, driven by increasing demand. The company has secured a two-year exclusivity agreement for the land and is exploring additional real estate transactions. Hagag sees the Romanian data center market as a significant opportunity, leveraging their existing local experience. The company plans to invest over €400 million in energy and data infrastructure, aiming for long-term growth in these sectors.
