Hackerii care au atacat sute de supermarketuri din Franța au oprit de la distanță răcirea frigiderelor

A cyberattack in France compromised refrigeration systems in numerous supermarkets, leading to spoilage of fresh and frozen goods. Hackers exploited an unpatched vulnerability in outdated software from Danfoss, affecting chains like Intermarché and Leclerc. The attack resulted in rising temperatures in refrigeration units, rendering large quantities of food unsellable. Danfoss acknowledged the issue, emphasizing the need for clients to upgrade their systems. Some stores reported incidents of smoke and fire due to the malfunctioning equipment. While many chains were impacted, Picard, which has decentralized cooling systems, remained unaffected.
