Guvernul vrea noi reguli pentru prosumatori: instalațiile fotovoltaice ar putea fi condiționate de existența bateriilor
Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasizes the need for legislative changes to support prosumers in Romania's growing photovoltaic energy sector. Currently, about 350,000 prosumers exist, but only a third have storage capabilities. Bolojan highlights the volatility in the energy system due to mismatches between energy production and consumption times. He advocates for regulations that require new photovoltaic installations to include storage solutions. The government plans to enhance self-consumption and integrate prosumer batteries into energy dispatch mechanisms. Additionally, funding schemes for storage capacity development are being prepared, with expected results by 2027.
