This decision follows the adoption of a regulation allowing for the phased limitation or disconnection of major industrial consumers during energy crises. Authorities have declared a state of alert in the energy sector, prioritizing energy supply for households and essential services amid production deficits and high consumption. The interim Prime Minister assured that residential consumers and critical services would be exempt from these measures, which are intended to be preventive and applied gradually if necessary.
