Guvernul retrage Strategia Biodiversității pentru a evita riscul unei penalități. Ilie Bolojan: „PSD se joacă, în total, cu 1,1 miliarde de euro”

The Romanian government has withdrawn the National Biodiversity Strategy to avoid potential penalties related to EU funding. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of safeguarding significant financial resources for the country. He criticized the PSD party for legal actions that could jeopardize access to European funds, claiming they are risking 1.1 billion euros. The strategy will now be included in a legislative proposal submitted to the Senate. Bolojan highlighted that the current strategy was agreed upon with the European Commission, and any changes could lead to penalties for non-compliance with the PNRR commitments.
