Guvernul Republicii Moldova a aprobat construcția podului peste râul Prut și a primului sector de autostradă carese unește cu România

The Moldovan government has approved an agreement with Romania for the construction of a strategic transport infrastructure, including a border bridge over the Prut River. This project aims to enhance road connectivity and reduce transit times between the two countries. Romania will finance the bridge's construction, estimated at 56 million euros, while Moldova will contribute around 5 million euros for a connecting highway segment. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2030, with the first section of highway in Moldova being built as part of this initiative. The bridge will facilitate better integration of Moldova into the European transport network.
