Guvernul pregătește deblocarea miliardelor de euro din PNRR. Niculescu anunță trei priorități majore

Prime Minister Luca Niculescu outlined three key priorities for managing EU funds, including closing the PNRR without losses and unlocking billions for pending payments. He emphasized the importance of EU funds for investment financing without increasing the budget deficit. An operational team will be activated to handle the last two payment requests from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Additionally, the government aims to accelerate the absorption of EU funds for 2021-2027 and prepare for negotiations on the next EU Financial Framework for 2028-2034, which could bring over 60 billion euros for Romania's modernization. Niculescu stressed that success should be measured by tangible investments rather than administrative procedures.
