Guvernul permite angajări la Romgaz

Romgaz is set to expand its workforce for gas supply to residential and small non-residential consumers after the government approved a memorandum. This includes hiring for the Iernut power plant and integrating employees from Azomureș. The memorandum allows Romgaz to bypass a hiring freeze in 2026, enabling the company to address staffing needs for strategic development areas. The company aims to fill 270 vacant positions and acquire 860 employees from Azomureș, increasing its total workforce to 6,422 by the end of 2026. The financial impact of these changes is estimated at over 61 million lei for the year.
