The KEOMA foundation, established in 2021 to acquire properties in Central Europe, will be dissolved by the end of August. The Hungarian government faces challenges regarding the management of dilapidated buildings purchased at high prices. There is currently no plan or funding for their renovation. The foundation was transferred to the Ministry of Transport as it did not fulfill any cultural tasks. A list shows 41 properties acquired, mostly in Romania and Slovakia, with only one property renovated in five years. The rapid acquisition of these assets lacked sufficient resources for their intended purpose.
