Guvernul Niculescu depune jurământul la Palatul Cotroceni

After a prolonged political crisis, Romania has a new government led by Prime Minister Luca Niculescu, who received parliamentary approval with 280 votes in favor. Following the swearing-in ceremony at Cotroceni Palace, the new cabinet, consisting of 18 ministers, will begin its duties immediately. The cabinet includes 11 members from the PSD party and 7 independents, with key positions filled by various ministers responsible for critical sectors such as finance, foreign affairs, and health. The first government meeting is scheduled for the same evening.
