Guvernul Meloni adoptă măsuri dure, ce îi vizează în principal pe minori, care au constituit marea majoritate a participanților la proteste

The Italian government has approved a decree introducing new offenses and harsher penalties aimed at minors involved in protests. The decree, effective immediately, targets violent participation in demonstrations, imposing penalties of up to five years in prison and fines of up to €20,000. It also holds parents financially responsible for damages caused by their minor children. Additional measures include preventive detention for minors and a presumption of guilt for those aged 14 and older. The decree enhances penalties for organizers of violent protests and facilitates action against assaults on police officers. Security in Milan will be bolstered with additional military personnel until the end of 2026.
