The Parliament has approved the government led by Luca Niculescu, ending a five-month political crisis. The cabinet received 280 votes in favor and 58 against, surpassing the required threshold for installation. This approval follows the fall of Ilie Bolojan's government due to a censure motion initiated by PSD and AUR. Niculescu is the fourth prime minister nominated by President Nicușor Dan during this negotiation period, succeeding two previous candidates who failed to secure parliamentary support. The new prime minister is expected to take the oath at the Cotroceni Palace tonight.
