Guvernul francez promite o reducere de 10 euro la fiecare plin de motorină

The French government plans to reduce diesel prices by approximately 10 euros per tank starting November 1, 2026. This reduction, announced by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, will lower prices by 12 to 18 cents per liter until January 2027. The government will sell 10 million barrels of diesel from strategic reserves at cost price to help lower pump prices. France has seen significant fuel price increases, making it one of the most expensive countries in the EU for diesel. The average price for diesel in France was 2.355 euros per liter as of October 5, compared to the EU average of 2.149 euros. The price reduction is expected to also affect heating fuel and other diesel uses.
