Guvernul discută de la 12.00 cu marii consumatori reducerea consumului de energie. Ce măsuri ar putea fi luate
The government is discussing voluntary energy consumption reductions with major industrial consumers to alleviate pressure on the energy system. An online meeting is scheduled with the participation of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. The focus is on companies consuming over 50,000 MWh annually, with potential reductions estimated at 100-200 MW, which may not suffice to cover peak deficits. If voluntary measures fail, mandatory reductions could be implemented under crisis conditions. Romania is currently in an energy alert due to decreased electricity production caused by drought.
