The government has approved the unblocking of over 6,850 vacant positions in the public health system, allowing hospitals and ambulance services to begin immediate hiring. Most positions are for nurses and auxiliary staff, aimed at addressing personnel shortages. The decision enables health units to organize competitions for these roles without delay. The distribution includes 2,593 positions for nurses, 2,567 for auxiliary medical staff, and 1,433.75 for doctors. The interim Health Minister emphasized the importance of this measure for balancing human resources in healthcare and ensuring continuity in medical services.
