Guvernul de la Chişinău renunţă la concertul de Ziua Limbii Române. Premier: „Să mai tragem și noi cureaua”

The Chisinau government has canceled the concert for the Romanian Language Day, emphasizing budget constraints. Prime Minister Vasile Tofan urged for reduced spending on cultural events, suggesting that the state should also tighten its budget. He mentioned that a national dictation will still take place on August 31 to celebrate the Romanian language, but without an additional concert. The Independence Day will be marked with a military parade this year after several years of absence.
