The budget for dam works has increased fivefold to 250 million lei, with three projects previously cut from PNRR now funded nationally. Minister Diana Buzoianu emphasized the importance of continuing investments in hydrotechnical infrastructure. The completed Leșu dam rehabilitation serves as a model for future projects. Vice Prime Minister Tanczos Barna noted the loss of significant PNRR funds and the need for more completed projects. The experience from Leșu should be utilized to accelerate other water management investments across the country.
