Guvernul aprobă programul „Diaspora Investește Acasă”
The Romanian government is set to approve a support program for diaspora entrepreneurs wishing to start businesses in Romania, with a budget of 100 million euros. The program, named 'Diaspora Investește Acasă', will provide grants of up to 200,000 euros for new firms. It aims to leverage the skills and financial resources of Romanians abroad to boost the local economy. Eligible applicants must be Romanian citizens with at least one year of relevant experience and a majority stake in their company. The program will be managed by the Investment and Development Bank and will run from 2026 to 2029.
