Guvernul aprobă dezvoltarea unei platforme digitale SAFE pentru industria de apărare

The Romanian government has approved a memorandum to develop an IT platform for the SAFE National Plan, connecting local defense companies with major contractors in European projects. The platform, coordinated by the Prime Minister's Chancellery and developed by STS, aims to facilitate industrial cooperation without managing EU funds. It will allow contractors to publish their needs while Romanian firms can showcase their capabilities. The platform will automate matches between demand and supply, ensuring a high level of efficiency. Romania aims for a minimum of 50% localization in defense projects funded by the SAFE instrument, with the platform being a key tool for integration into European supply chains.
