Guvernul alocă 5,1 milioane lei din Fondul de Rezervă, pentru continuarea lucrărilor de dragaj pe Dunăre • Newsweek România
The Romanian government is allocating 5.1 million lei from the Reserve Fund to continue dredging works on the Danube River. This funding aims to restore navigation in critical areas affected by low water levels. The allocation supplements a previous budget of 7 million lei approved for redistributing water flow at the Bala-Dunărea Veche bifurcation. The funds will specifically target dredging in two critical zones, Cochirleni and Caragheorghe-Turcescu, to remove approximately 100,000 cubic meters of material. The intervention is temporary and will comply with environmental regulations.
