The Romanian government has signed a contract for 12 Airbus H225M helicopters, enhancing its defense capabilities. This agreement, part of the EU's SAFE initiative, follows a previous order for seven H160 and five H145 helicopters. The deal, valued at 757 million euros, includes initial logistics support and personnel training. Deliveries are expected to start in 38 months, with the helicopters interacting with the IAR Ghimbav platform.
